The 6069-T6 (+69% tensile strength vs 6061-T6) welded rim sticks with the wider-is-better mantra with an internal 37mm (internal) width. Optimized for 2.5"-2.8" tyres, the E_Enduro Wide rim provides support to the tyre during hard cornering or hucking off that step-down you've been eying off for a few months!</i>
<h1>Weight</h1><i>Mountain bikers aren't concerned about weight, right? Nope! Whether you're doing a back-country epic or pedalling between stages, we have paid attention to weight to suit the type of riding they will be subjected too. For example, using the highest specification Pillar triple butted spokes with PSR (Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement) has allowed us to not only create a stronger wheel with a higher spoke count, but one which does not add a weight penalty.</i>
<h1>Spokes</h1><i>We have chosen top of the line, triple butted Pillar Spokes with increased reinforcement at the spoke head. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head, just before the J-Bend to prevent failure in this stress area.</i>
<h1>Rear Hub</h1><i>The demands of modern day Enduro riding are tougher than ever before. The E_EnduroWide hubs have been developed specifically for these demands; 10 degrees of engagement is delivered by a 6x1 pawl set up for increased resistance from the extra torque. Heatsinks built into the 6-bolt rotor mount helps to dissapate heat away from the hub and brake system. Oversized 17mm 7075-T6 series alloy increase stiffness.</i>

Featuring a H-Lock rim bead with 'up-kicks' to the shoulders of the rim bed secures your tyre when seated. This prevents side-to-side movement reducing the chance of burping your tyre. It creates a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. Still haven't made the switch? All our wheels are tube compatible as well.</i>

The Purpose

More powerful and able to carry greater momentum, E-bikes place a huge amount of strain on wheels. The E_Enduro wheelset has been developed from the ground up to handle these unique demands. Featuring a 37mm wide 6069-T6 rim, laced with thick triple-butted spokes to oversized E-Specific hubs; the E_Enduro is up for anything you can throw at it, making them an ideal upgrade over your standard Original Equipment set.

Developed closely with Elite level racer Oli McKenna, the E_Enduro wheels have been tested to the same rigorous standards as our Downhill rated wheels. The rim sidewall tapers to be 25% thicker and with up to 41% more material in the rim bed compared to our Enduro Wide, they're ready for whatever the trail springs at you.

Gone are the days of E-bikes just for commuting, modern E-MTB's can take on the steep & loose just like their 'acoustic' siblings. Whether you use it as a training tool, to fit more runs in between daily duties, or you simply don't like climbing - E-bikes are a great way to get in more vertical.

      All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. 120kgs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 110Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tyres at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.

      Schwalbe Magic Mary and Hans Dampf Snake Skin Tubeless Tyres

      There is not very much to say about the Schwalbe Magic Mary. It is one of our favourite tyres for the most aggressive riding out there. Striking a great balance between speed and grip it is a great option for almost any track out there. The high-volume casing offers maximum braking traction and cornering grip, even in extremely muddy train thanks to the strong shoulder studs and aggressive, open tread design. Ride in dryer conditions? We find that the Magic Mary is perfect for finding traction where other options are simply left behind.

      The Hans Dampf is one of the most balanced tyres out there. Providing superior control on rough terrain as well as amazing grip in flowy singletrack, the Hans Dampf is the best kind of all-rounder. The high-volume casing offers maximum braking traction and cornering grip for when the trail becomes aggressive. But when gravity stops working its magic, the Hans Dampf will not leave you behind. The continuous tread pattern is closely spaced meaning that this tyre tracks well and has a lower rolling resistance over more aggressive options.

      Choose this tyre combo for loose to wet conditions with your EnduroWide wheels. It’s a great option if you want an aggressive, all round option knowing it has your back for most conditions.
