Raced throughout the 2023 EDR season under Joe Connell. Featuring an internally reinforced 31mm rear rim and 33mm wide front rim. Oversided 17mm alloy axles and dual sealed REVO bearings.

Tyre size: Optimized for 2.35" to 2.6" tyres; work well with 2.3" up to 3.0" tyres.

The Purpose _

After almost three years of valiant service on local trails and EWS stages alike, with numerous awards and accolades along the way, the restless design team here at HUNT saw an opportunity to update the Enduro Wide wheelset to meet the evolving demands of today’s riders. Listening to our athletes on the EWS circuit, we developed a testing protocol to ensure the Enduro Wide can take a beating on the most unforgiving trails without flinching.

Our engineers built an impact test rig specifically for the task, then using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) they optimised the material distribution ensuring the strongest rim without incurring a weight penalty. To better suit the differing needs of each wheel, a front (33mm int.) and rear (31mm int.) specific profile is utilised; designed for compliancy and grip up front, while the back is reinforced to handle high impacts.

So, whether you're riding tracks with black diamonds marked at the trail head or spend the weekends chasing your next Enduro stage, the EnduroWide has your back.

Mixed 33/31mm internal width. 6069-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy (+69% tensile strength vs 6061-T6). Tubeless-ready – designed to work excellently with tubeless tyres. Tubeless-rim tape and valves included. H-lock bead-seat up-kicks for easy and secure tubeless installation. Matt black work-hardened shot-peened finish with laser etched graphics for superior durability.

Stated wheel weights: Our stated wheel weights reflect the wheelset only; without rim tape, tubeless valves or disc brake lock rings, as is industry standard. A 3% variance (lower or higher) in total system weight is normal for wheelset manufacturing.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 135 kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 125 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
