Josh's Mason Bokeh Race around Rwanda bike check
The Race around Rwanda kicks off in Kigali Rwanda this weekend. It's a 1000km race with around 250km of gravel roads and lots of climbing. In fact there is barely a flat section on the route and coupled with the fact that the race begins at 1800m altitude and only goes up fro there means that this will be a tough challenge. But what is the best bike set up for the event?
Josh Ibbett takes us through his race setup...

Meeting Fabian Burri
Fabian Burri has a long history with cycling but has only recently started bikepacking and racing Ultra races. Fabian has travelled all over the world racing throughout 2019 and as the most recent addition to the Hunt team we thought it was about time we found out more about the man.
So without further ado lets meet Fabian!
Fabian's Cannondale Topstone
Fabian recently raced this cool Cannondale Topstone in the Across Andes Bikepacking race in Chille, South America. The route crossed high altitude mountain passes on both tarmac and dirt roads, so the Topstone proved to be an excellent choice.
The Topstone uses Cannondale's revolutionary kingpin suspension system based around a series of clever pivots and strategically laid carbon fiber. The end result is a suspension system that will take the edge of the dirt road yet still pedal efficiently on the road sections and long climbs.
Meeting James Stockhausen
In this weeks 'meeting' we get to know James Stockhausen. James works for Temple cycles, a small British company who build bikes in Bristol. James loves to get away and travel on his bike so we find out more about the man and his travels.

Dylan's CX Nat Trophy U16 Race Report
You may have seen Dylan on the road in the summer, but it's 'cross time now and he can be found at the National Trophy rounds all over the country, fighting shoulder to shoulder with the best young riders in the country. Here's his report of the U16 race of Round 2 at the Westmorland Showground.
"For someone who does cyclocross for enjoyment, fun and some mud, the National Trophy Round 2 was not my piece of cake. After taking a few sighting laps over the roller coaster course, I had decided firmly that my race objective was to survive and not break any bones."
Gosse: King of Scotland
What a race, what a trip. We headed up early on Saturday for the 8 hour drive to Glasgow, full of quiet optimism. The reason? We knew after his 2nd place at Milnthorpe a fortnight ago, Gosse had the bit between his teeth and had spent the two weeks training (really) hard for this. We had Dan of Breakaway Digital in tow for photography, as well as Matt of Mason Cycles (one of the finest mechanics in the game) - massive thanks to both of those guys for their time & serious morale-boosting abilities.
In a recent video on Gosse's life balancing studies & pro riding, made by Voxweb (University of Radbound's independent magazine/publication), he signed off by saying he was "the happiest man in the world". We quoted him on this, challenging that around 2 hours before the race, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who would define Gosse as even remotely chirpy. True to form, within a few hours of the race start, the mood was a little off....
