READER'S RIDE: ADAM'S TREK CROCKETT

Adam has been a longtime follower of the Hunt story. As a mate of Dan Clark’s (Technical and Dispatch), Adam is frequently out exploring on this super versatile machine. As one to frequent the Lakes District or laps around Surrey/Sussex bridlepaths here in Hunt’s backyard, Adam has built this bike up with the ability for it to go the distance with minimal fuss.

Specced up as a #gnarmac weapon, this Crockett features a SRAM/Shimano mixed driveline with an 11-42 Cassette and 42T Wolftooth to give a  1:1 gear ratio – perfect for those super steep climbs at the end of a long day. Slick Maxxis Re-Fuse 40mm tyres are set up tubeless on a set of 4Season Gravel Disc wheels. The high spoke count on these wheels plus wider rim width mean that these will be perfect to provide the durability and tyre stability Adam needs. Finishing it off we have Zipp components and TRP mechanical brakes.
